Borneoco was established on May 1st 1997 by Constance Vos and Dineke Koerts. Our activities cover the full range: concept development, research, curatorship, fundraising, marketing and publicity, budget management, organization and production of our projects. The events we organize are usually festival−like, with dance and theatre performances, debates, lectures, films and documentary films in which we focus on contemporary art and culture from non-Western societies.

In 2005 we established the cultureXpress Foundation in order to more directly support our partners in China / the South.
